Jean-Pierre Braganza A/W 11 – London Fashion Week

Fierce pony tails stole the show at JPB’s A/W 11 show, scraped back and fastened with a lick of black leather. His collection drew on science fiction – creating stern lines and structuring in red and black on warrior-like women. A vast departure from the sorbet hues and delicate draping of his S/S 11 offering.

Quilted protective elbow panels and zip-off sleeves had a hint of galaxy superhero about them, while for me the most covetable items were a black and red tiger-striped catsuit in silk and a steel grey tshirt dress with intricate Donny Darko-esque antlers etched on in black.

Spotted – his beautiful little daughter raven, in the front row and Boris Johnson’s transport minister (JPB designed a limited edition bike for Boris’s scheme last season).
